IRWAG Certification Information Session and Meet Up
For all those interested in the IRWAG certification and all current certification holders
A chat about interdisciplinarity, intersectionality, and professionalization for IRWAG graduate students
We welcome present, past, and future Institute of Research on Women and Gender certificate holders to a party and discussion on the hows and whys of IRWAG certification. Join Professor Lila Abu-Lughod, IRWAG certificate holder and Tufts University Post-doctoral fellow Rosemary Hicks, and IRWAG Graduate Fellow and certificate holder Sonali Thakker, among others, for talk about intersectional and post-intersectional work, discuss the benefits of doing IRWAG certification in addition to one's department work, and the realities of the job market with the IRWAG certification. Also get the pragmatic discussion on how the certification process works, who to ask for your committee, and great works to add to your IRWAG certificate reading list. Food and drinks will be served.
